Software I run:
- OS/2 Warp v3.00
Lotus SmartSuite for OS/2
Borland C++ for OS/2
IBM TCPIP 2.0
Software I have had problems with:
- Corel Draw for OS/2:
Sucked. Couldn't import my TIFF's or BMP's.
Not only that, the "extras" (photopaint, etc.)
that come with it are the windoze versions.
It did funky things, but no one else I know
has had problems.
I'm told the Mitsumi double-spin driver has
timing problems. I have encountered this problem,
and IBM says there is a fix in the works. I
have not checked to see if it exists yet.
None with the Mach64, but if you get a video card
for use with OS/2, buy name brand. IBM's drivers
are brand-specific for the most part.
As with the video, name brand helps. I lucked into
finding a driver that worked with mine, but a
friend has a NE2000-compatible that does not work
with any drivers we have found.
